Every report we produce is independent, well-documented, and built on current appraisal standards — because the people relying on our numbers are making real decisions with them.

Our mission is simple: deliver accurate, well-supported appraisals, on time, from appraisers who know the local market. We believe credible valuation starts with understanding the neighborhoods and property types we work in, and that every client deserves honest, professional service from the first call to the final report. Meet the Team

John Steers

Certified Residential Appraiser

John is a Certified Residential Appraiser, handling single-family homes, condominiums, and townhomes across the Denver metro area. Before joining Anchor Point Valuation, John spent years on the transaction side of real estate and lending, including roles at FirstBank and American Financing, plus several years managing a real estate rental office in Vail. That background gives him a practical, ground-level understanding of what lenders and buyers actually need from a report. He holds an economics degree from Metropolitan State University of Denver (Summa Cum Laude) and studied economics at the University of Colorado Boulder.

Kendall West

Kendall West is Anchor Point Valuation's Certified General Appraiser specializing in both commercial and residential valuations.  Kendall has worked full-time as an appraiser since 2003.  With over 20 years of hands-on experience, he has appraised nearly every type of property including: office buildings, industrial properties, retail developments, restaurants, gas stations, apartment buildings, vacant land and mixed-use properties on the commercial side; single-family homes, townhomes, condos and 2–4-unit properties on the residential side. His experience also includes review appraisals and expert witness testimony.  He has dedicated his career to delivering accurate and well-supported appraisal reports that clients trust and use to make decisions.
